"I feel that my clearest purpose is to accompany people in the process of reconnecting with their bodies, through love, presence, and a profound acceptance of life in motion."
About me
I've been connected to the world of movement since I was 3 years old. I started moving as soon as I learned to walk, first in the world of gymnastics, then ballet, and then in multiple physical disciplines.
I am a Senior Classical Dance Professor and a former professional ballet dancer. I have been teaching for almost 30 years and dedicated to supporting others in their journeys of connecting with their bodies and movement.
I have trained in multiple techniques, ranging from Barre à Terre, Contemporary, Graham, Feldenkrais, Eutony, Body and Artistic Expression, Tango, etc. To training in the field of Fitness and body-mind activities, such as Pilates floor and machines, Personal Training, Cross-fit, Pregnancy Specialties, Special Populations, Low Pressure Fitness, Bioenergetic Masters, etc.
Although my connection with my body began very early, it has been a path of reconciliation with myself through conscious movement and constant presence in my physicality as a means to delve into my most intimate aspects.
About eight years ago, I was diagnosed with a pelvic floor disorder, and this marked the beginning of a profound journey with myself, one of rediscovery, in which I began to understand my body through listening, presence, and the love of inhabiting it. The pelvic floor disorder opened up a space for me to deeply understand my bodily processes, as well as my feelings and emotions.
This radically changed the way I moved, trained, and connected with my body, and this profound change was reflected in my entire life, both personal and professional. I delved into my personal body search, reconnected with my body and its guidance, learned to connect with my body's intuition, and discovered that all the answers already reside within me. I healed myself through my body, and thus Movement and Consciousness was born.
